Hey beautiful, I’m Miriam (ASHABA) — a makeup artist with 5 years of experience and a lifetime of *yanga* in my spirit.
My beauty journey started way back when I was a little girl “borrowing” my mom’s makeup, smuggling her lipstick like it was treasure, and painting my face in front of the mirror like I was born to do it. It didn’t take long before everyone started calling me “the girl who loves *yanga*” — the girl who never missed a chance to slay even just running a little errand. Honestly, they weren’t wrong. I’ve always believed that looking good is a whole mood, and feeling good? Even better.
My artistry is deeply inspired by the vibrant, fearless talent coming out of Nigeria — the bold eyes, the rich skin tones, the unapologetic glam — as well as the soft, timeless feel of 90s beauty. I also draw inspiration from artists across the globe, always learning, always evolving.
