Cancellation Policy
BOOKING & APPOINTMENT POLICY To secure your appointment with HOA Studios, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. This retainer confirms your reserved time and will be applied toward your final service total. The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment and can be paid via e-transfer to houseofashabastudios@gmail.com. CANCELLATIONS If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your retainer. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded but may be eligible for rescheduling as outlined below. RESCHEDULING Clients are welcome to reschedule their appointment once, provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and your original retainer will be applied to the new appointment. Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be treated as a cancellation, and a new booking with a new retainer will be required. LATENESS & NO-SHOWS To ensure the best service experience, punctuality is important. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without providing at least 45 minutes’ advance notice will be considered a no-show, and the appointment will be cancelled without refund. Clean Hair is Required Please arrive with clean, freshly washed hair that is free of buildup, oils, or product. Your hair should be free of any leave-in conditioners, oils, or styling products before your appointment. This helps ensure the best results for your chosen style. NOTE: Dirty or unwashed hair will not be serviced. Hair Extensions For styles requiring extensions (e.g., sew-ins, ponytails), please ensure all extensions are 100% human hair. This guarantees a natural look and optimal styling results. Synthetic or human hair blend extensions will NOT be serviced. For best results, extensions should closely match your natural hair colour. I am not responsible for colour mismatches, and no refunds or corrections will be provided for extensions that do not blend properly. Please reach out in advance for a colour consultation if needed. NO EXTRA GUESTS To maintain a calm and focused environment, please come to your appointment alone. NOTE: Any guests invited without prior notice will not be allowed to enter.
